iat question
ok so i dont know how but somehow my iat got ripped off my harness ( extended for mpfi swap w/ y8 mainfold). i was just wondering what the computer sees with it gone, the car still runs just fine just has a code 10
i imagine once the computer senses an issue with the sensor or in your case being unplugged from it entirely that it may have a temperature value it defaults to so that the engine will still run.
ok so its safe to drive until i can go to the junkyard and get one right, i just dont want to to lean out on me because it doesnt know the air temp, plus i already busted the tps the first time i launched it so it has a code 7 anyway
must have some pretty crummy mounts if the motor was able to move that far back and smack the firewall
you'll be fine for now, it's not going to make your engine catastrophically fail or anything of that nature.

its the one that goes from the back of the tranny to the firewall that mount is shot, not to mention the y8 manifold barely clears the firewall...yeah it was a mount problem that caused that code 7.
like 2 inches or something i dont have photobucket or else id post a picture, it was a bitch to install though, but it has to come back off so i can finish the wiring up... i still need to go back and solder it up oh and will the honda dealership sell wire loom i dont want parts store crap
