Default b16a1 with b18c5 head

I bought an b18c5 head with original cams/springs/retainers and want to fit it on my stock b16a1 engine.

I also have a victor-x intake with 68mm TB and was wondering if this could be a good thing on an N/A setup or is it going to be to big and should i stay with the stock b16a1 intake and TB.

Only if its an older VX.

I'd run a stock ITR or similar IM though unless you want an already peaky setup to be even moreso.

i thought the gsr intakes where different but the type-r intakes have the same bolt pattern as the b16a1 ones do or do i have this wrong? The edelbrock site shows this also.

itr and b16 have same bolt patter. I'd just stick with the stock p30 b16 intake manifold actually but that's just me. the edelbrock is way too big imo.

just found someone who will trade a b18c5 type-r intake with my victor-x so i'm gonna go and do that and probably fit it with the 70mm TB.

70 is going to kill it as well. Stick to a stock TB.

apperently allot of people say that. My tuner says it works pretty damn good on this combo. If it gives me a peaky / bumping ride i can always put back on the original TB.
