i just orderd a f20 dohc and need to know if there any aftermarket cams and or will the same ecu from the f22 sohc work with it. please help me anybody!

 

no offense, but you bought this engine without researching aftermarket support first?

 

you ordered a motor prior to researching aftermarket support for it....?

 

j00ll need to reprogram an h22a ecu to accomodate the higher redline and still have IAB dual runner control and knock sensor.

 

where did you order this motor from? Make sure you are getting a dohc. I ordered one from a large company and low and behold when it arrived on the loading dock at work it was a sohc. I was not a happy camper.

 

F20 what????

there are 5-6 F20's that were/are made world wide.

some DOHC... some SOHC.. some VTEC .. some not. you get the point.

The 90-93 Accords for sure in japan had a F20A which is a variant of our F22A1/4/6 and is a common replacment engine used/sold by salvage yards. Its SOHC non-vtec.

When you guys order motors.. bettere research what car had the engine you wanted, and then go from there.
