It's also my 1st Honda, Although i am familiar with them to an extent my older brother has been with them since i was just a kid. CRX is one of my faves, It's got that unique look to it that most car companies just started doing now, the flat back hatch back i guess you'd call it. But yeah, I'm also from b20 and I'll tell you, the difference in how you guys on here treat your cars compared to the people on that forum is INSSSAANNEEEEEE, you guys know how to keep a car mint. I love it and i plan on doing the same.

Goods...
It's a 91 HF and runs good.
Visual rust is minimal (but we all know what lies beneath the Q/P's)
Seats are flawless.


Bads...(all cosmetic)
Guy before me spray painted the interior bright *** red, and everything's kinda loose...
Shift **** just lays on top wobbling around.
Was hit in the front very minimal damage and i got everything to fix it but the hood.
Has some ugly *** headlights (already got new ones)

That's it, otherwise the picture pretty much speaks for itself.



PLANS.
For now i'm gonna fix it to a presentable level like fix the front end and change the inside. Lower it and just drive it till i save some money.

Future:
LS/vtec turbo with shaved bay and wire tuck.
All new Q/P's.
All new interior (black on black on GREEN)
Gut the entire thing, down to the frame and paint it MED gray the right way.
Gonna TRY and put in an s2000 cluster.
Eye lids (very small ones, just to cover the corner like a cb7 accord)
Carbon fiber hood, mirrors, and OEM style spoiler.

And from there I'm gonna wing it. What do you guy's think?

Congrats. I bought my EF about 4 years ago and it was totally trashed. The interior was poop brown, smelled like cats, was FULL of animal hair all inside, body was trashed, and the car was overall falling apart. It was formerly owned by some ricer and everything was "loose" as you described. It was so bad I tried to sell it and start with a nicer shell/body but couldn't hardly give the car away.

Several years later and a couple grand into it, I've got it pretty much restored!

 

this is what i want to do i saved my EF from a mexican who thought 240 sx seats in a civic were cool...not so. good luck and get that 8 valve outta there lol

 

Werd, Lol. thanks for the support guys. I'm glad the condition of mine isn't as bad as some of the ones you have described. But still, these cars are basically extinct and I'd like to take part in keeping them alive the best i can

 

I finally got it home...Turns out it needed and alternator. Driving it home everything was cool for about a mile, Then bam battery dies...I drove around for like 2 hours in my moms car (she came with me we took her car there) looking for somebody to jump me while she was with the crx on the shoulder in jersey. Finally while i was looking somebody jumped her and gave her just enough power to move to a safe parking spot, Then i called my brother, we looked it over and the alternator is seized so he brought 2 fully charged battery's so that when one died we could witch it and it would be just enough to make it home. Turned out the one batter worked fine...I took the front end off and now its under a tarp in my driveway, putting the new front end on in the morning. =D.
