If this is the case, we should all post up check point locations (ex: City, Street, Cross street) when we see em.

I highly doubt california will be doing this they don't have the funds for it..

 

they have these checkpoints in riverside from time to time. i have a friend who owns a smog place he always lets me know of these ahead of time

 

They will have the funds for it after all the tows and fines that they will issue. It's an investment for them.

 

maybe they should clean up skid row and worry about the crooked government employees and leave our cars alone. everytime they say "high emission vehicle" i think they really mean "honda" 18 wheelers are like 8 hondas in one big polluting machine!

 

yeah this is bull.. i was driving in L.A. on a weekday afternoon heading home and saw one of these set up in front of a public liabrary. luckly, i was driving on the opposing direction heading home. there was a mustang on the dyno and a bunch of cars that were lined up on the side. this was a few months back

 

this **** is always going down in lakewood lynwood southgate downey compton and norwalk mostly all down major streets such as imperial lakewood blvd atlantic ect. watch out 310er!

 

Thats pretty retarded considering it takes like 15min to check each car and congest traffic on a weekday.
California is getting too strict and wasting money.

Yeah, they are very very bored as you can see. California is trying to just figure out a way to just throw all the junk car in the junk yard such as honda hint hint. There is always one in orange on katella and glassel haha. I get lucky just to avoid it in the morning. haha

 

yeah ones in while there one in corona to let u guys now its coming on the 15 going south u take the of ramp to get the 91 fwy going to riverside and its there on the off ramp post up there ones in a while i saw it there like 2 weeks ago last time but theres no dyno it just camaras and stuff that check ur car out and emmissions

 

from reading others forums people are saying the smog checkpoints are voluntary. the fourth and fifth admendments rights you dont have to get it smog
