Well its time for all the shittalkers to stepup. me and dennis talked on the phone for about an hour today discussing this whole fastest all motor street honda thing that got so much attention in the other thread. we figured that there is only one way to settle it. have a shootout. we want to know how many of you are serious.we really want to do this.we are lookin to rent out atco for a day. all NA honda's welcome. if you think that your car is fast bring it on down. it should be fun and it would be a great chance to meet and hang out with all of the fastest NA guys around. so if you are intersted please let us know here so that we can see if it is even worth our time to setup an event. thanks Chris"Doc"Miller

we are lookin to hold the event for the begining of march. so that no one has an excuse why they couldnt show up. it is far enough away to plan for it and if your car is broke, it is enough time to fix it. because with all the talk of who is actually the fastest or whos faster then who this is the only way to settle it. get everyone who is serious together and just grudge match all day. i know im gonna be there. and i know there are alot people that think they are fast. so lets do this.....

We have 2 Street cars for you to taste.

Both 240+ Wheel Horsepower, all motor in 1850-2100 lbs cars, daily drivers.

Oh well, let me know when you all are in CA.

greg the reason we want to wait till next year, is because alot of people are changing there setups. and that gives everyone time to get there **** together. and march is a great time to run.

 

I understand but, in 6 months everyone will forget about setting this up. When that time comes, set it up again.

How about we benchrace or at least compare timeslips for your 240whp 1700 lb street vs. ours ... it will be a East vs. West battle !!!
I'll have something finished soon to match up for you, not 1700 lbs though more like 2000 if we're lucky, evne in an 88 HF its hard to get that weight.

But its impossible to do a timeslip race from CA compared to say, Englishtown...

Because the track over there, and other places back there are litreally .3-.5 seconds faster than anything in CA.

Notice none of the world records are broken in CA. Always where you live.

Best time Erick's racing did at our track was 11.01? And he runs 10.60's all over the east coast.

So its too hard.

best way to do it is with HP VS weight. With correction factors listed on dyno charts.

we have 246 WHP @.99 Correction factor, Dynojet.
Car weighs probably like 1900? or 1940? Hard to say.

It should run a quarter with slicks in about 11.50 or so @118+ MPH.
Another guy on here with an Integra has about 240 WHP all motor, he will probably run like 12.0@111 i woudl say in a Street Integra.

I wish we could race East Street cars VS West Street Cars.

The side bets would be 100x the bet of the owners of the cars...and we would probably have to have a bank finance the bets, because I am sure the West Coast people would want to bet in upwards of 10k a race.

A few guys out here will bet their street car, All motor VS ALL OUT RACE cars all motor. Because the street cars are mid 11's. All motor.

So when do we do it? lol

greg i understand what you are sayin but if we set this up now i dont think it will die down. it will just drive people to build their car for this event. alot people out there think that they are the fastest or they can build the fastest and this is an opportunity to see what people can do. and if we do this event right it can possibly turn into something good. like an annual event. me and dennis the cop talked about it and we are all for it. he has something up his sleeve for next yeah and so do i. and i know there are alot of people out there that would not mind holding the title of the fastest n/a streetcar.

 

Gregs, right why not race in 2 years? Seriously run this weekend come up for imstar run in the hybrid modified class, there will be several low 12 all motor street cars there.Jason

why not just make the trip up here. make a weekend out of it, this is why we want to plan it for march. get the biggest turn out possible, and give people enough time to plan for it.

This is why me and the doc decided to post this question.. we want feedback, all these idea's are great, lets not get to crazy yet, but this can grow into something... Just like Dave Buscher did with the DSM shootout in the mid west...it's an annual thing now, my DSM friends have gone the past 2 years.... and they always bragg about it...We're going to have to start out small, no need to get in over our heads yet but it's worth a try, since there was so much talk about it on the other post... We should entertain this... Trust me, me and Doc want to give it a shot .. It's a great idea to get all of us allmotor racers together, meet one another and shoot the **** and then settle the question that caused so much controversy...Then the next year defend the title... And like always new faces will show with crazier set-ups...and it will go on and on... But it all starts here, with your responses...Alot of people posted their opinions on the other post, lets see it here, we want a head count, to see if it's worth it.....let us know , DTC
