Tune up needed? Old gas in tank? Gas has limited viable life underground at the station and in your gas tank. Let it sit in there too long and it loses critical properties. That's why I never buy gas at mom and pop places that don't have good turnover on the gas they have underground. The places that move a lot of gas have fresh gas.
You might try pouring a bottle of octane booster right in there with the existing gas and then top it off with a litte quality gas at a station and get the car out and give it a good hard run with some quick acceleration on an interstate, etc. If the car was running okay when you parked it, it likely just needs a litte rejuvination now.

I registered here some years ago and remember a whole different feel. So what happened to this place? What happened to simply being able to give people a little advice, without attacking their spelling, logic, uninformed position, etc?
