~Down-under EK build~
Thought I should post a thread on what I've done, hopefully it interests some people!
I picked her up in April 2009 in absolutely stock condition, New Zealand new(bugger), 73,000km on the clock of the D16y4 and two previous female owners(..bye bye clutch).
What firstly made me interested was the seemingly perfect body condition it was in. The bumper had been resprayed but that was about it.
I thought it'd be a good shell to build around.
This is the only semi-decent picture I took of her in stock uniform.

As you can see, stock grill, stock wheels, stock height..you get the idea!

First things to change were the wheels, I found some cheap SSA Rush's (volk ce28n replica) and chucked them on and an ek9 style lip..and painted sideskirts.
(I don't know why I decided to take pictures all in the same place etc, it was a bit weird :S)

Next thing was to find some black mesh to do a DIY CTR grill.
I did this because I couldn't be arsed getting a replica grill painted after just coming back from painting lip/sideskirts.
Turned out alright if you ask me!

One weekend was dedicated to de-badging and painted the rocker cover and heatshield of the old D-Ninja, sadly I stuffed the first one up and had to use a spare but in the end this is what we had

Now comes a shortage of pictures but here's the list of what was done:
-Rear disc conversion thanks to a mate's wrecked DC2
-Gold Blox rear LCAs
-Silver ASR subframe brace
-Facelift EK tail lights
-CTR style headlights
-Spoon Mirrors
-Spoon Style carbon wing

I decided to bite the bullet and finally lower the ***** so I purchased some tein s-techs along with some Koni Yellow shocks

I got sick of the ctr lip on stock bumpers (nz/jdm dont have mould-less bumpers other than ek9) so I got an sir lip.

Most recent addition is a pw:jdm rear strut

In store for the next few months is a B16B swap and maybe some neuspeed race springs or some coilovers.
I look forward to updating this often!

I plan to lower it more, roads in new zealand are really pot-holed and bumpy but I have no issues at this height so a bit more can't hurt.
Just can't decided whether to go with springs or coilovers because I plan to track it

Well at least you don't live in Aussie land where they try to slide a wooden beam under your car. =\
Looks great though, color combo with the stock wing looks fantastic.
Keep it up bru!

Finally able to update!!
After some messing around, the car was hoisted and the old D16y4 was taken out.

While the B16b was being prepared, and the loom being cut and repinned, I decided to fill the mounts with some polyurethane filler seeing as though I'm not baller enough to get innovative mounts

Also, a small wire tuck was taken out, basically hiding the headlight and washer cables and the EK4 front knuckles and prelude rotors were fitted.
With some motivation from Mr Vtec himself

We were able to get the B16b swapped in and started first turn of the ignition

It goes like an absolute beast compared to the D16 and just feels like the power comes so easily.

Looking to get some Bisimoto headers and maybe intake?
Would love your comments on what I should do to this engine, now I have one worth doing something to.

Thanks for your comments!
I really want to change the muffler though, it's way to loud and attracts too much attention...Kakimoto or not it has to go lol.
What would you recommend as a replacement that still sounds 'grunty' but doesn't have a massive out pipe
