very good driving....probably better then my tuning....hehe. this was the delsol's 1st run too, so gotta give props to awesome driving. kinda bounced and hesitated a bit in 3rd and in 4th it ran out like a monster. still a good time for a true daily driver on 110oct. on pump gas(93) it bested 10.91@130mph last month, so even that's good for a true daily commuter. one of the fastest/quickest true street delsol i've seen and help build.
thank you bee but no not as good as your tuning skill bud.
sc34dx - I really don't know the power since, dyno numbers are just numbers.
lsdx - 1/8et was 6.9 and 24-25psi.

Ya it's not bad. A 2.2 with a 35r at 25psi, just seen a 1.8 with a 64mm turbo on 25-26psi run a consistent 10.0-10.1 so that 10.4 ain't bad since it's a del slow. Should really get a cage though since ILL garage was getting harped on for not having a 10point in the eg.
Delslow is heavy as hell!!! 10.4@139mph is awesome! True a 2.2 with a 35r would be considered a big motor setup. You have to take into consideration the weight of the car and motor when you compare it to the 1.8 running 10.0-10.1. $7/gal for the 110 octane is not bad if you are driving to and from the track. Congrats on the run!! Good driving and the 139mph reflects a good tune...
thx guys.........this project delsol has been going on since earlier this year. finally had time to get her dialed in. top of 3rd was actually chugging/bogging(rich) a bit and still turned out a 10.4pass so definitely with a touch up she'll see 140+mph and lower 10's. simon was so excited he didn't want to run anymore and was still shaken from the pass...so he denied to run again after I touched up the bogg area. it still driving...in fact he drives it to work everyday including today...hehe. he'll be out riding around town later tonight running out the 110gas. then we put back the 93gas map..... see u all next year!!!
btw i did run my car the same night and completely ran out of gear way before the end of the 1/4mile(ITR 4.4fd 10K redline)....coasted to a 10.00@148mph with a 121+mph 1/8mile...hehe!!! 2nd run 3rd and 4th gear blew in pieces..........36+psi on s372 800+whp. will try again next year..........with a dog box.

nah...we usually don't video the runs. too excited to drag race and always forget the camera. i can find the timeslip somewhere in the mess of tools and post it. maybe if i have time. if you do the math on mfactory gearing: 25"slicks/9.9K rpms/ITR(4.4) --->4th gear ends 150-151mph. completely ended it and bogged down due to redline...coasted 148mph.
when i ran 155+mph my 1/8mile was 118mph. currently close to 122mph now in 1/8mile.
i actually found out my boost solenoid was bad. took that off and ran a manual bcontroller and got my boost right. before it kept on spiking a bit and started lifting heads. as it spiked a bit from my boost limiter, it'll lift a bit...thru some time it eventually completely lifted. always a relief to figure out these little gremlins. glad i figured it out before this head lifted. now i'm ready for a dog box....excited and can't wait to race again!!!
