okay my mom and i bought a 1991 accord (its mine for the winter but she helped pay for 60% of it..)almost the same as mine for winter but before i replaced the tcu there would be a glitched "s" light mode im sure u at guys know what it is if u owned a 1990/1991 accord

but i replaced it works fine now but in D4 the sport shift light stays on only in D4 not 1/2/d3/n or park only d4 it seems to shift fine no problems really but idk if that light mines somthing

i tried to fully engage the brake in park and push the button nothing happens the 2 wire harnesses are secured firmly and all but the light wont go off dosnt seem like a problem but thats why im asking you guys

also its burning oil so idk if the automatics do this when they hit 137k or not or what it is but i dont mind spending the 3 dollars ever so often to refill her

also thanks to whomever reads all this and helps me ....5 speeds are so much less troublesome

 

ttt btw noone knows it aint doing nothing bad even though 2nd gear has been jumping a bit like the clutch in the tq converter is slipping but aside from tha it shifts faiurly well but that light wont go off and at night seeing a green bright *** light gets anyyoing

 

you do realize that since its an auto it does light up to tell you what gear your in...right?

 

i dont mean the d4 light around it i mean the "s" light for the i think its called sport shift mode
