i have a 1990 honda accord lx having a problem with it every time i drive the car it drives fine until i come to a stop or slown the car rpm starts to drop and it turns off but when the car is in park it idle fine when i drive its fine until i start to slow down or stop can some one please help me thanxs

 

Does the car stumble and then stall or does it just die?
Could be the clutch lockup in the converter is not unlocking.
Verify the transmission solenoids are working correctly.
