OBD1 help?!

Icon2 OBD1 help?!

I'm pretty new to this whole OBD thing but I wanna know where i can find a OBD1 computer and ecu. and i also wanna know if i can just get a OBD1 off a different car and it still work?...help plezzzz

Junkyard, it might help to list your year, make, and model and what engine you want to run the OBD1 on.

what if i have a CRX thats been switched to OBD1 with a OBD0 computer. will it still run?

its a CRX HF...and the motor is a DOHC ZC

no dont get an obd0 ecu find a obd1 and then your still wired for mpfi if its an HF (non vtec)

ummm easiest way to run that motor is obd0, being that nothing came stock obd1 with a dohc non vtec d16 motor in the states. how was your car converted to obd1? if it was just a jumper harness, simply disconnect the harness, plug in the ecu and you're good to go. alot of people use the dizzy and ecu from 88-89 integras (don't use one from 86-87, forgot why but i think it's something to do with them being low compression). however if the body harness was chopped and soldered then you'll need to replace the body harness at best or cut off the obd1 plugs and resolder the obd-0 ones on

Well I'm about to buy this CRX with that motor, and the guy said that it needs a OBD1 computer.

Idk how it was converted. im probably gonna buy this CRX with that motor and the guy said it needed a OBD1 computer cause it was converted. I'm not gonna lie, i dont know nothing about what a OBD1 does or anything. im gonna have more info about how its converted soon tho

obd1(on board diagnostics) you'll need a ecu from a 92-95 civic if the engine is vtec get the p28 from a 92-95 civic ex
