Default Replacing cap and rotor

okay my rotors all lose and i wanna replace it but i wanna know if u have to get it timed afterwards??? thanks

No. There's a bolt that goes through the rotor and screws into the distributor itself, hence it setting it in the right position. Make sure you use an allen key or a torx may work as well.

Sometimes the shaft and opening for the screw are facing an impossible to access way. Blip the starter or manually rotate the motor to make it easier.

okay i was trying to reach the screw and that **** was hard to get to. okay so i have to like crank the engine until it turns the rotor.

If the screw is hard to take off don't strip it. Use an impact driver.

Be sure to get the screw tight when your finished, I had one come loose one time really messes up the distributor.
