Anyone have a DIY on rear wheel bearings?
1. Break the rear wheel lug nuts loose by turning them counterclockwise with a tire wrench.
2. Raise the Civic onto jack stands. Lift the Civic up using the rear jack point near behind the trunk and place jack stands under the pinch welds of the vehicle. Then lower the Civic onto the jack stands.
3. Finish removing the lug nuts and pull the wheel off the hub assembly.
4. Hit the outside of the drum hard with a hammer to knock it loose from the hub. Then pull the outer drum off.
5. Remove the hub retaining nut with a socket wrench.
6. Remove the nut and the thrust washer behind the nut.
7. Pull the wheel bearing and hub assembly off the spindle.
8. Reverse removal instructions for installation.
