Default aftermarkret navi without cd???

hey guys, i recently bought an em1 and it came with an eclipse HU, with navi, thing is, it did not include the disc and now i cant even adjust the equalizer without the disc. I was looking on ebay and found the disc but wanted to make sure that if i bought iy (its 150 just for the cd!!!) it would work. Basically what i want to know is if these HU are design to work with different cds other than the 1 it came with.

the one on ebay says it will work on my HU but 150 is alot to lose if it doesnt end up working. Thanks

I can't say for sure, but considering that eclipse doesn't make car audio anymore, that ebay auction is your best bet. Just make sure you pay through paypal, that way you have protection over a fraudulent seller. I know that fujitsu ten (they manufuactured the eclipse source units) will still honor a warranty until the manufacturer warranty time period expires, so you may be able to contact their tech support still. Im not sure about what generation nav discs work with what units, I never was an eclipse dealer, but I can tell you that different generation pioneer nav discs have worked with diff generation pioneer nav units. I know that $150 is a fairly large gamble to take, but if it doesn't work out, you could be without a source unit, period.
