Default Reversing trans output rotation - flipping R&P - Reverse cut gears, etc.

I am wanting to know if it is possible to flip the ring gear in a hydro B-series manual trans in order to reverse the axle rotation. This is relevant to rear engine set ups such as sand rails. I have read that it is not possible in a Subaru trans due to the pinion not being centered. The Subarus are used so commonly in sand cars that there are reverse cut gears available as a solution. Any info regarding reversing axle rotation from a Honda trans would be helpful.

Not possible. Even if you ran straight cut gears or had custom gears made for forward rotation you would still run into oiling problems.
