Default i need someone who really knows thier S@#T

ok if anyone's in the lacey wa area and really knows thier wireing i'm haveing some major issues with my 94 honda del sol. I bought this car as a shell I dropped in a D16z6. Now i'm stuck in limp mode the car sounds great but wont run over 3500 rpms. i check the code and had a crank positioning sensor. so i replaced distributors and have the same code. the wireharness down by the ecu looks like hell. everything seems to be hooked except my igp2 and lg2 wire are going no where and thier are no extra wires down there to hook them too. so if your in the lacey area and know your stuff i'd be happy to pay for gas and time if you would like to come take a stab at this car. or if you have a z6 in your car to where i can try you dizzy or ecu and see if the problem is there i'd do the same.....

thanks hope theres help out there somewhere

Do you really mean crank position sensor? If you're using an OBD1 ECU, it shouldn't look for a CPK. If you mean a cam position sensor, that would be in the distrubutor. The Crank position sensor is a 2-pin plug near the crank pulley and oil pump.

If you need any more help, let me know and I'll get you a pinout for your ECU. What code are you throwing?

No, he's correct, the CKP is inside the distributor.

OBD2 cars have a CKF, crank fluctuation sensor, for misfires, near the crank pulley.
