Mugen exhaust for ITR sedan
Has a search but couldn't find what I needed. I have a '96 spec DB8 with a '98 header bolted to stock exhaust & cat. Someone is selling a mugen DB8 C pipe, just need to know:
1 - Will this bolt to my stock sedan B pipe?
2 - Is the mugen DC2 and DB8 B pipe the same? (Thought it was but keep hearing different things)
Thanks

I had a complete 3" exhaust off a 99 si and put it on my DB8 and fit pretty good, rubber hangers stretched a tad and the muffler was tucked underneath the bumper but it will fit.
I'm pretty sure that the DB8 C pipe is longer to accomodate for the deeper rear bumper etc. Couldnt tell you if it bolts up to the stock B pipe or not sorry.
Well, the DB8 its self is 145mm longer (5.7inches-ish): http://www.integratyper.org/specs/dimensions.htm
And there are different part numbers for the 3 and 4 door exhausts as well as different part numbers for the 96-specR and 98-specR exhausts probably due to the different manifolds. I don't know if the difference is in the b-pipe or from the axel back paortion, but there must be a difference in it someplace if they have 4 part numbers for them. Look at the mugen catalog to see the part numbers.
