eg mugen lip? refinish or not?
i have a real mugen lip for my eg hatch.its in pretty good shape just has the normal scrapes on the bottom side from rubbing the ground and some other scratches here and there that can be seen on the surface of it.it also has a crack on the bottom of the lip where it can be seen but dont want it to get worse.maybe like a 2in crack
my ? to you guys is should i get the lip completely refinished or just leave it as is?would it deprciate its value or will it be any kind of turn off when and if i sell the car with the lip or if i sell it outright.will i run into any problems.please let me know what you guys suggest i do.i have a body man that does exceptionaly good jobs so i know it will be taken care of
ps...i am not willing to sell the lip...thanks

Get your body guy to do the proper plastic repair and get it refinished the right way. If it was a cheap junk lip I'd say just go buy another one, but if it's genuine Mugen and you want to use that as a selling point, get a quality repair done and treat the lip the right way. Urethane lips and bumpers are so easy to repair, you might as well just get it done.
