Hey guys, I had a pretty badass mustang saleen pull up to my shop, he had lambo doors, supercharger, etc... Well, he said his alarm acts 'goofy'... sometimes it works, sometimes not, it will randomly go off, got to a point where he just decided it was more of PITA to use it, than to just lock and unlock using his keys. Thoght I'd show you what i found when I dropped the drivers side crash pad, maybe it will entertain you like it did me! The thing litereally, just fell, no zip ties or anything, it was great! Im not gonna name the shop that did the original install, but will tell you its from Fort Walton Beach, FL...

 

wow thats almost as bad as the guy who did my alarm originally before fcm helped me fixed it, the dome light was staying on and the brain wouldn't clear the memory after being triggered when i turned the ignition, etc. so many problems and so much wasted money unfortunately.

 

yeah, this was one of those situations where I was like, dude, Im not even gonna try to fix it. I told him I'd take everything out and start from scratch, or he was gonna have to pound some pavement, lol!

I had a install like that, my first alarm was a twisted togher, electrical taped night mare.
When i took it out, it literaly took me 10 mintues to have every trace of the alarm gone, besides the hacked harness

I think i could do better drunk.

I think it would be essier to pull it all out and do it over then fix that garbage

I love being drunk! I'd be lit right now if I didn't have to work early tomorrow! If you PM me, Ill give you the shops name if you plan on getting work done in that area, but I don't like to post that kind of stuff on public forums, I don't want it to seem as though im putting any shop down!

And yeah, It was much easier to just charge him a product removal fee, and a new install fee, esp bc I charge every 15 mins for trouble shooting, and have a life time warranty on my work. He was more than happy to pay, esp after seeing the original work!
