Default Front right tire Shakes when 50-60mph.

I have a 1995 Honda civic 4door ex.
Sometimes when I drive 50-60mph my front right tire would shake on and off.
I'm not sure what could be causing this.
Friends tell me I need to Change my tie rod ends, or the wheels not balanced.
Has this happen to anyone before?

Thanks.

^This.

Try "X"ing the front wheels...
If it pulls to the other side you might have a radial pull// shimmy.

If it still pulls to the same side you might need a tie-rod end // alignment.

check the wheel bearings, of not then it may be slightly out of alignment, or as stated before it could be a tie tod end, either the inner or outer will do that

lift the car and hold the wheel at 9:00 and 3:00 and try moving the wheel back and forth if it moves then its the tie rod, other wise could just needs to be balanced

Yup, was just driving wifeys car and felt the same shimmy going on. Same as poster above that it goes away when on the gas pretty much but felt much more when letting off the gas. I'm going to check the wheel for play tomorrow to see what's up. If there is no play and the wheel swap to the drivers side does nothing then I'm taking it back to the tire place to have them redo the balancing.

Have you checked the balance? You may have lost a wheel weight. If everything is tight in the front end I would check that next.

Didn't get a chance to get the wifes car up so that I could check everything. Long day at work. I'll get it done tomorrow and post what I found so others can have the information. Tires were just balanced all around so that's not it (I hope). Going to see if there is any play in the wheel and if not then I'm going to swap the front wheels to see what I wind up with.
