Default Question I have never been asked, until today....

Dun dun DUN!!!
Had a customer come to the shop today and ask me about an auto to 5spd conversion on their newly acquired, unfinished EG coupe project. He wanted to know if he could use the dash harness from a 5spd car with the auto body harness so he did not have to fix the wiring that the previous owner had started but never finished. I did not really know the answer to his question, but i thought maybe the body harness needed to be 5spd too. Any help..personal experience???

I have done plenty of 5 spd conversion but i usually just wire the auto dash harness to make everything work...except cruise(because everyone i have converted for did not care about cruise control....pink wire yada yada.)

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, you can use the manual body harness. It all plugs up the exact same. It's what I did when I built my 94 DX hatch, it was auto, But I used a SI harness since I was putting in a D16Z6. Worked fine. -Later, BR
