About a month ago my girlfriend bought a 93 Prelude 4ws with the 2.3 and an automatic trans, within a week the transmission went from occasional drip of fluid to a full quart lost if driven over twenty miles, i have pulled the passenger wheel off and found it is the gasket for the right end cap of the trans that is leaking and i can not find any part numbers or any gasket sets for this transmission due to not knowing what it is. I am trying to find information regarding either what type of transmission this car has or at least where i can get a gasket replacement set or something, so far all my local parts stores are drawing a blank and we dont have the money to have the tranny rebuilt right now and she needs something to drive to work that is dependable for the winter, any help would be much appreciated.

 

By the right end cap do you mean where the axle meets the transmission? If so its a dealer only part and its like 6 bucks. Easy to fix.
