Default Heated Seats 94-97 Accord

Did any trim model of the 5th gen Accord have heated seats? Reason I ask is that I bought a 98/99 Acura CL woodgrain console and bought the heated seat switches. I'd like to install the heater elements into my seats using the OEM equipment. Since the CL had only 2 settings (on or off) I haven't been able to find an aftermarket kit that would work. The ones I've found have a Hi-Lo-Off switch. I don't know if I can wire the 3 setting pads to work with a 2 setting switch.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am not aware of heated seats at least in the 94-95 but you could get the wire harness and the heater elemnts for the 98/99 and they should work with your switch

Just hardware the hi/lo seats with just the high setting on, I don't see any issue with that.

As to the 5th gen Accord, none (USDM) had heated seats from the factory..

I'm bumping this since I'm about to go ahead with the install. I drew up a diagram to help show what I'm working with. The OEM Acura switch has 5 wires for only 2 settings (On - Off). The aftermarket switch has 3 wires, but has 3 settings (Lo - Off - Hi).

Any help on which wires to connect would be great. I'm afraid that if I just start experimenting by connecting wires, I'll burn something up. The red power wire has an inline fuse that I didn't include in the diagram. Thanks

I did heated seats in my 5th Gen accord wagon. Used the heating elements and switches from a 5th Gen Prelude.

Used the Prelude wiring diagram.

Prelude heated seat wiring

Mounted the switches in the front door pockets.

You have to take the seats apart to stitch the heater elements inside the seat covers (just like the real factory installation on the Prelude).

Thanks for the wiring diagram. I wish the factory Acura switches had a high and low setting. Since I'm stuck with a basic On-Off switch, I'd like to make sure that when it's turned On, the thermostat stays with the low temperature heat setting. I heard that the high setting is really hot.
