my car has gremlins


we traced a short to a 4 wire plug coming from the ignition to the fusebox...

replaced both ignition wiring and the fusebox... with known good pieces

we have tried tons of stuff... including main relay lol

basically 12v is leaking into the chassis... when you jump the starter when the 4 pin plug is connected, the dashlights light up... bad 12v leak...

when its disconnected, the starter will spin, but when connected, it just pops...

any ideas where the wiring is bad?

its the wires that the 4 pin grey conector going from the ignition to the fusebox that are the culprit, but we already replaced the ignition wiring and fusebox...

please help
