02 2.4 crv serpentine belt help!
I have a 02 2.4 crv that the ac pulley just went out. Now I need a new ac compressor cause the bearings have gotten stuck
and the pulley is now moving too much not in a circle movement but side to
side movement. What I need to know is there a serpentine belt that I can put on my 2.4 that eliminates the ac. At the time I don't have any money to fix the problem
so I want to see if I wait till next summer to fix it. I've been calling all the car stores to see if they have belts for crv with out ac but they just tell me that there is no such thing?? I need my baby back can any one point me in to the right direction thanks

Get a piece of string or wire and string it the path that the belt would be without the a/c included. Lay that measurement out flat the length that the string went around the pulleys. Now lets say its 97.6" (the numbers are to a 1/10 of an inch) and the belt has 6 ribs. Take this measurement to the parts store and get a belt this size (the part number will be something like this 976K6, the 976 being 97.6" and the K6 being 6 ribs). Get the belt that is the length of the string, whatever it ends up being, one size below it, and one size above it. Try each belt and see which one works the best and the return the others.
