CRX Si HELP!
Hey i got a 91 CRX Hx and swapped the Si d16a6 Motor in it. I got it all in and now it wouldn't idle. i think it was the Vacuum stuff and i think i had it figure out. But now it wont start. It cranks but wont start. Is there a way i can test if im getting any spark and if im getting any fuel.
Also if anyone have a CRX D16a6 can you plz take pix of your intake Manifold cuz i want to see how your vacuum line run. Thanks in Advance.

1. Use a multimeter or voltage tester to make sure you have power at the necessary points. Start at the topside of the distributor and work your way back. You'll need someone in the car to help you.
2. You can test the fuel pump by disconnecting a line and turning the key to the ON position. If fuel pours out then the pump is good.
That's where you should start anyways, cause you need to come back with more info before anyone can really help you.
Search for pictures of the vacuum lines in google or on here. I have seen tons of them.

you probably mixed up the vacuum hose going to the map sensor with other hoses. there is a small nipple on the throttle body on top of the idle adjustment screw, make sure that is connected to your map sensor.
Remove a spark plug from the cylinder head, then reinsert it into the end of the spark plug wire. Hold the ground electrode against a bit of bare metal in the engine bay (a valve cover nut will work) and look for fat blue sparks while someone else cranks the engine. Don't get zapped; it will hurt. If the spark is weak and yellow/orange, check for worn ignition components (distributor cap and rotor, plugs, wires). If the spark is non-existant, you probably have a bad ignition coil or ignitor (a.k.a. ignition control module).
