Default 94 GSR stalls at 5,000rpm speedometer drops to 0mph

I'm in desperate help with my car its a 94 GSR 4door and I put a chipped p28 ecu running on chrome, and first the speed sensor went out so I replaced it then it work for like two days and it went out again, and this time it threw code 20,22,17 wich are electrical overload sensor, vtec press switch, and speed sensor, so I replaced the fuse box in the engine bay, put a new vtec press switch and another speed sensor and it's still throw code 22,17 but not the code 20 so I drove it down the street and nothing so I went back to the house put a different chipped p28 and I by pass the vtec press switch by jumping the wires at the ecu and it didn't throw any codes so I thought it's good to go took it for a spin speedo work and everything but when I went to hit vtec wich I set at 4600rpms it hit vtec and went to 5000rpm and all of the sudden it's started to bogs out and the speedo droped all the way to 0mph so I droped the gear and did it again and same thing so I just went back to the house, but it's so weird that it's not throwing any codes so I took out the jumper and turn the key foward and it's throwing the codes again, and when I took the jumper off and took it for a spin again then my speedo won't work put the jumper back and no codes, so am clueless I pretty much replace with new sensors and nothing put new cluster same thing, put new vtec solenoid screen, check the solenoid it's good, so if anybody is having the same issues and found out what it is let me know please. Do guys think is a short somewhere in the engine harness? let me know what you guys think.

Check your grounds for the engine and ECU.

I had put 2 different VSS and nothing, my brother jump the vtec press switch by putting the blue wire which is the press switch with the green wich is the solenoid and the engine light turn off, and he took it for a drive and the speedo actually work but when he hit 5000rpm it stall and the speedo went to 0mph so he took the jumper out and then the speedo stop working and the cel came back so am thinking maybe is something with the engine harness so I got an extra one am gona try and put it in to see if that is causing it to do that, and thanks for any advice you guys.
