Picked up my 99 accord about 2 months ago. It has 165K and 4cly auto. Twice in the last week I had the same problem. Put the key in and turn it over and it just cranks continuosly and doesn't fire. If you immediately turn the key back off and turn it back over agian it fires just fine.

Is something on it's way out??? Any ideas?

Sounds like maybe your ignition maybe at fault.
