Porting
I recently ported out my throttle body on my 1990 accord lx and I was wondering if I got the heads and the intake manifold ported would I have to get larger injectors or could I get the heads and intake manifold slitly ported so I would not have to worry about the fuel delivery? And what size injectors come stock on my 1990 F22a engine?
When you say ported out, did you increase the size of the throttle plate?
If you are not doing any work to the bottom end (increase compression) or adding a turbo. I would say you will be fine with the stock 240cc injectors.
Do you have any sort of tuning hardware if you were to get larger injectors? It's not too often that you can plug in larger injectors and have them work properly with a stock ECU. If you have a tunable ECU you could pick up a set of 92-96 Prelude VTEC (H22A1) injectors and tune using them. They are the same impedance and have a flow rate of 345cc's.
