Default GSR/No Oil.. new pump

97 gsr motor
Comming home from work the oil light came on.. and i haven't gotten into vtec since i can remember.
So wen i got home i turned the car off and took it the next day to the shop(via flatbed btw)
Shop then returned it with the oil light still on but installed a new pump that i had bought directly from Acura.
About 2 weeks later I heard a weard noise.. turned out it was my cams from oil starvation. Took off oil pump and then went to Acura.. got a replacement and installed it.. now i go to turn it on same thing goin on..no oil to my head and the oil light still on any ideas?

Sent block to get cleaned in solution(they said), crank cut.. block honed, new bearings, gaskets and rings.
Head got resurfaced and cleaned

so you had the block tanked and now it's all assembled, but the light is still coming on?
maybe manually check the pressure. see if you get anything at all

Is your oil pan bent or something? Its blocking the pick-up, isn't it?

its pumped oil before.. all though it is alil bent... heard of people having bent oil pans no prob..

All i know is if i have my pan and exhaust bolted up.. no oil gets pumped.. i unbolt it and have the pan sustained with a jack i get oil going everywhere; even the oil light on the dash goes out.

I can tell there is not much clearance between the bottom of the pan and the pick up tube. Bend it back or find another pan. That's where your problem is.

damn.. hit it right on... thats wat it was.. didnt notice but the pan was bent all the way to the pick up tube and the tube made an indention on the pan itself.. therefore not suckin any oil just acting lik a suction cup w/ the pan....
