Complaints to Koni, who to contact?
Should I go complain to Koni North America or go to the head office in the Netherlands? I have had terrible experiences with customer service with Koni North America and it is delaying my car. It is so bad that I 100% regret buying Koni suspension and wish I would have went with Bilstein or something else. I need parts and have been unsuccessful with ordering them every single time. I tried phone contact at least 12 times before getting someone to answer (they would not reply when I left all of those voicemails with my name and number). I did contact someone through email, we went back and forth with emails and I got no where because the guy kept saying sorry I deleted the prevoius email, what were you asking about? And I kept telling him and eventually no reply, didnt even get prices or the info on the parts I needed. When I did get someone on the phone, they were very rude. He told me what kit I needed and what comes in it and how much it is. I said alright I would like to order 2 of the kits right now. He says no send me an email, my email is.............. and I will send you the order. I said I want to order them now and give you the credit card number over the phone because I need these parts. He says again my email is.......... I sent him an email as I was on the phone with him just as he said. I have yet to recieve my order form or w/e and it has been a week. I am done trying to contact them because I get no where. I am going to corporate and if necessary having investigators go after them to get what I need and never contact them again. If my suspension blows out I will not be servicing it, I will be replacing it with a company that is there when I need something. If you had a race car or something that needed parts for an upcoming race and cant get a hold of the company, I am pretty sure you would be switching manufactures.
actually, if you're racing you should have a back up shock or two. bilstein is easier to get in touch with when it comes to revalving. koni has 3 main things
1. the tech line. you can get ahold of lee pretty easy
2. sales through dealers. you need parts? place an order
3. warranty claims. i've warrantied a few koni shocks over the past 10 years and had quick turn arounds
anything else...who knows, the customer support line never seems to work for most people. communication is the other thing. if you write an email similar to that post, no one really knows what you're saying exactly. it's poorly written and you don't highlight what it is you need in clear quick terms.

Koni (Holland) is notorious for its 'customer regard'.
However, it needs to be said, as ids suggests, contact with Lee is awesome

...I dealt with Truechoice a number of years ago and the head fellow there should never speak with customers...angry, nasty folks in general.
