A friend of mine is complaining about not having tilt steering in his 88 Std Hatch. Can the steering column be swapped over from a civic equipped wit tilt steering ? Or are there just a few components that need to be swapped over ? I never really gave this much though.

 

I had my 91 CX hatch stolen a while back, they DESTROYED the steering colomn. When I had a new one put in they put in one with tilt, just becouse it was the only thing they could find. This was done at a shop that I dont think would have done it if it was time consuming. It was just an insurance claim to them. Im pretty sure it should be really easy to do. Cant give you any more details than that. hope it helps some.
