Hey guys just wondering if the 98 Integra gsr has a bulb out sensor. I recently installed an hid kit for my low beams and at start up each bulb will intermitently go out I would assume until they warm up. Each bulb usually goes out 2-3 times before it stays on. After they warm up(I guess thats the right term) they will always stay on no problem. I guess my real question is... Is it normal for hid bulbs to go out a couple times before they warm up and stay on? The reason I am asking about the bulb out sensor is because the company I bought the kit from suggested installing one since acura is kind of a high end car. They believe it may have bulb out sensors which are messing with the hids. I dont believe much of that but they offered to replace the kit free of charge if I wanted so I just wanted to get you guys opinions on the matter. I am not an expert when it comes to hids so any educated help is welcomed.

 

sounds like you need a relay and a bigger fuse for the headlights as the HID initial start up draws a bit of voltage.

 

Let me just restate that I am not educated in the electrical aspect of things. I believe the headlights are a 40a fuse? Does that sound right? What size fuse would you recommend changing to? And what is a relay?
