Does anybody use Sta-Bil in their car?
I start mixing Sta-Bil into my gas can around this time of year because my lawn equipment doesn't get used very often. That 5 gal can of gas can linger for 6-months.
Since I have to buy a new bottle of Sta-Bil, I was wondering if I should get a bigger bottle and put some in my hatchback. It doesn't get driven much at all so the gas in it gets pretty stale. Actually it's a wonder that it hasn't had problems yet. I drive it around the neighborhood every couple of weeks. I only do that so that I can get the mower out of the garage. I can't drive it because it has no insurance or tags.
Has anyone used Sta-Bil in their cars? Will there be any problems from using it?

I put stable in my crx and started it every few weeks, the car started right up for 3 years with the same tank of gas. I also put it in my motorcyle for the winter with no problems.
Sta-bil won't hurt at all, it doesn't get cold enough where I live to need it, but I know a few people who live in places where it snows, and they all use it in their street bikes over winter.

Yeah, it's not just for cold weather, it's supposed to keep the gas fresh (and I think keep out moisture/deal with it).
