i have a hydro b16 trans in my car now, 2nd and 3rd are going out, and i know of a b16 cable tranny for sale thats cheap
can i buy that, take the 2nd and 3rd out, and put them in my hydro b16?

also, whats the amount of synchromesh youre suppose to put in?

i put in 2.0

and advanced said its 1.9

but that was only 2 bottles, where as i was told to put 3 1/2 in my b2 tranny awhile back...?

No. '90 - '91 Integra and I believe all cable B16 trannys use a smaller input shaft and are different. YS1 ('92 - '93) cable trannys are compatible although in this case it would have to be from a YS1 GS-R tranny (hard to find)

 

You don't need to replace the gears. Inspect and replace the sleeve assemblies (1/2 and 3/4) as needed.

 

where can i get those? a donor b16 trans? if i can get them from the dealer or autozone or something, about how much would they run me?

Don't buy anything but shop rags and brake cleaner at autozone. Everything they sell is junk
