Default eg full coils on ef

Sold my EG and kept my tein flex full coils. Hoping I can use them on my EF... Anyone ever done this? I'm guessing I may need to change out the front forks and a height adjustment. Anyone know for sure? Thanks

The front will sit WAY higher, like higher than stock ride height.

i just put some Progress Drag coilovers that where ment for an eg. they are coilovers so you can lower them. the only difference is that the eg's need the front forks to fit the thick diameter shock in the front. cleared my b series axles and i was able to get the ride height i wanted. hope this helps.

You can run EG's on a crx if they are full coilovers and yes you will need to change the forks. I have OMNI power coilovers on my crx and they are for a DC and/or EG, thats all they sell. You cant lower the car as much as you could on your EG. I have my lower adjusted all the way up and im running .5 inchs of no pre load, so there is a gap between the top hat and shock but only when the car is jacked up. If your running the bump stop on the shock you should be fine just be aware that you do run a very small chance of bottoming out your shocks in very extreme cases of shock compression. I drive mine very hard and have had no issues. Im also running 15x7 wheels with 35 offset and 205/50 tires and can barely put my hand between the tire and fender. Thats as low as the car goes. These adjustments only really apply to the front. The rear you install just like the EG. If you have any question just PM me.

With me EG set up on my crx, the rear is slammed with about a 3/4" gap between the fender well. The front can be slammed to the ground if I chose too, the rear is as low as it will possibly go. I guess it all depends on your set up.
