Just a couple of weeks ago my transmission started acting up. Between 2nd and 3rd gear it will slip. Also it has been downshifting hard at times into 1st gear. I change the fluid regularly. The fluid is very clean and filled up to where it should be, no signs of leaks. The car has 125,000 miles on it. It has been very well maintained. Sometimes it seems to be worse then other times. Please, any suggestions?

 

That seems to be a common problem in that generation Civic. I almost bought one with a bad trans, but a low milage transmission cost more than the asking price of the car.
