I'm planning on putting a 6 point in my del sol but I'm confused on how the design of the cage would have to be. Would this style cage be nhra legal or would i have to put bars going back to the rear strut towers? I found these pics online and the guy says it's legal but i'm kinda skeptical.

 

It's hard for me to believe that cage would be considered a legal 6 point. I'm pretty positive you have to have the two rear bars going back to strut towers or rear frame rail area. You have to get rid or the functioning back window to do it though. I really like having the functioning back window but I got rid of it a month ago. On a positive note, it does weight 28 lbs. The window itself is 8 lbs
