check engine light/rev limiter issue

Default check engine light/rev limiter issue

i have a 90 crx si d16z6 turbo swap done. i had the running yesterday it ran fine no problem. today i went to start it and it runs about 2 sec and the check engine light comes on. when i try to rev the car at all the revlimiter kicks in at like 3000 3500 rpm. is it some fourm of a safe mode? any one have any clue as to where to look first?

yeah it sounds like its kicking into limp mode, what codes are blinking at you

If its a Z6, I'm assuming OBD1? Depending on your conversion harness will determine how to get the CEL to flash.

yes its obd1. i im gussing i never hookd up the wires to make it flash because its a stedy cel

It's two wires that you jump together to get it to flash. What conversion harness are you using?
