Default just installed jdm oem 4-1, 2.5 cat, 2.5 custom bpipe, es tuning muffler

theres noticable increase in the sound of air rushing out at wot. do i have a leak? also, i didnt get a chance to install the jdm header bracket, is this piece neccesary?
and the last one is really irritating. Theres a loud rattle underneath the car after install of system, much louder then before. I'm thinking its the heat shield for cat and bpipe. Are these pieces neccesary, or can i remove them?

I didnt get a chance to go past 8000rpm but the car definitely pulls much harder after vtec engages.

few pics of install:

thanks gary for the parts!

A few pics of joey's ctr, thanks for helping out with install:

The air is probably the increased sound from the header. How is the sound? Much louding?

You can remove your heatshields.

I'd say so. More air moving faster. It is almost a grumble on my car. Just think of the change in diameter of the piping... that is (unscientifically) the reason for the increased sound of air.

Take off the heatsheilds.

What about a hiss when shifting? I heard that was also I sign of loose connections on the exhaust system.

I have a very slight sound... almost like sound waves not matching up and the resultant wave has that 'wah-wah' sound. It's barely audible. I'm clueless, my first thought was that it was because the temperature had dropped and the air was very cold and dense. For all I know it could be that stupid aem making noises...
