Default carbon fiber hoods

alright y'all...i'm really mad right now cuz a ******* shopping cart damaged my hood tonight at a grocery store and there is enough damage to basically cover the cost of a CF hood...anyways...i wouldn't ever buy one with my money because i have more important things to spend it on...but since insurance will cover this big *** ding in my hood i'm going with carbon fiber...why you ask...because i'm tired of dealing with paint...it takes too much time (yes i know it doesn't really take much but i honestly don't have any time now adays except for late at night) to keep in good shape and CF unpainted will just be easy for me...so i need to know some cheap places to get them...i am probably going to get about $500 to spend total and i need to know some places that will get me that price shipped...thanks in advance and sorry for the major venting...i'm still pissed though!

Did you hit the shopping cart? It looks like someone would have to push that into your car to get it up like that.

what brand of hood are you looking for. I can get you a few different ones depending on taste. if you want one of them big named top brand ones. Looks to pay 550+ up too 700 i hear. But if you want a decent avgerage type. There are some out there a 450-500. Shipping no matter what will run ya like 100 bucks. Truck freight is a pain.

I have seen numerous products from VIS. Although a bargain deal, you ultimately get what you pay for. Fiberimages on the other hand has shown me incredible customer service along with some of the finest CF products available.

There's also some random company that sells on groupbuy fairly frequently but I can not recall thier name. And I have heard nothing but good things about the quality of their products... more to come on this.

edit: This post used to say: VIS can lick my *******. They SUCK!

Fiber Images is known for a good quality weave but a so-so fit.

haha it's eating your car. Anyway my hood from VIS sucks. there are a few small 'bubbles' popping out and there are all these white dots. It actually looks perfectly fine as long as you are two feet or more away, but up close it's really annoying. and what sucks is to return it is like a 150 shipping fee and a restocking fee so its not worth it.
