fluctuating idle problems
i have a problem i went to change out my d16y8 throttle body with a throttle body off of a b18b1 and i have had reving problems ever since i put it on. it will rev to like 2500-3000 when i start up and after it warms up it will start bouncing up and down from 1000-2000.
i have cleaned the iacv, put gasket sealant on the throttle body gasket and throttle body , and i have checked the FITV and its fine, my engine never did this before the throttle body swap, i have been trying to figure this **** out for days. i put gasket sealant on there to try and help with the vaccum leak if there was one but i guess that didnt help, it also started to do this when i put my y8 TB back on, but it wasnt nearly as bad. i just do not know what the hell this could be, and how the hell do you get the b series throttle body to work on there? ive already port matched it and everything but i have this damn idle problem! thanks

I had kinda the same problem after i re-gasketed my topend after a headgasket job. i bleed the air out of the coolent system per a video i saw on this site. and it went back to normal
