Default 1.6 sohc to 1.8 dohc

How hard is it to switch my 1.6 sohc to 1.8 dohc. What modifications would I need to do as far as wiring?

i would say close to impossible. either that or you'll spend alotta money and have an engine that isnt worth it.

1.6 to 1.8, possible.

sohc to dohc, no, not unless you're doing some crazy crazy ****.

Well, how about you tell us what kind of car you have and we'll tell you what engines fit in it. I'm guessing a teg or civic so your best bet would be to swap in a B18. I'd look in the hybrid forum if I were you and research a little.

get a motor swap.

only real sohc to dohc conversions you can do is d series with dohc zc heads, but that's pointless so just get a motor swap
