Trivial question, please help. urgent!!!
Pretty sure it hasnt been asked but here I go. F22B1 block. Here is a link to what I am talking about just in case. I am speaking about the arrow that says "Lock with 6 x 1.0mm bolt". I have an engine that has that bolt housing cracked in half. Is this face one of those faces that can be replaced as the lower portion where the crank pulley area is or is this main block surface. Please someone tell me it is a face that I can just replace. It is working for now but I am scared to run it too long. The arm is held in place by the torque placed for the adjusting nut on the second arm but like I said I dont want to take a chance on it allowing the timing belt to slip off and damage my head.
sorry about that thx.

Two things:
1. The bolt threads into the engine block itself there.
2. It's not necessary to run the car; nothing is going to slip. The adjusting nut alone is what holds the tensioners in place. The 6x1.0mm bolt is only used to lock the adjuster arm in place temporarily so that you can keep tension on the timing belt when removing the balance shaft belt & tensioner. Once both tensioners have been installed and the adjusting nut is torqued to spec, the factory service manual instructs you to remove the 6x1.0mm bolt.
