Default 94 lude SI vs 00 Civic SI

What are both the 0-60 and 1/4 miles for those cars stock.? Which car from the factory is faster. My friend is about to buy a stock 94 lude si and we are curious as how to it will match against my other friends 00 civic SI that has i/h/e. The civic as 45k on it and lude with 120k. What will the outcome be and what does the lude need to take it or keep up? Thanks!

actually it would be up to the driver.
1/4mile on stock civic Si is 15.7sec and prelude Si is 15.8sec. not a big difference at all. but since the civic Si has i/h/e i assume it would win...
but Prelude's H23 has a lot of potential because of the displacement.

'94 prelude vtec? oh hell, in that case the civic would be sucking exhaust with or without i/h/e.

you must actually own a civic si to think it can ever hang with a vtec prelude.

definitely a nice car, but don't buy it for the speed factor.

see sig...

anyways, a SI lude will own the civic from the start...if the civic driver is REALLY good he could pass the lude on the top end...110 or so...but it will depend on drivers

The Civic Si should pass the Lude in 3rd gear.

i've never seen a bone stock civic si run under a 15.8 which is what the average prelude si runs...and that is in 4th gear so no way the civic si should pass the lude in 3rd...not stock vs stock

Every person that drives a 99-00 civic si, thinks their car will run in the 14's with I/H/E. Trust me, I was talking to one BOZO awhile back at my buds house, tryed to tell me that his 00' SI with just a header, and intake runs a 14.5. I was like, OK dont think so. I was going to run him, but had too many beers in me(Racing and Drinking not good) So last week I saw him going down the highway caught up to him side by side, slowed down to 40 both drop down, hit it and it wasnt even close pulled him all the way to 100mph and shut down. Not even close..... Havent seen him since

I call Super BS. What are you running on your lude? I must be a lot of if you smoked an 00 civic SI with intake and header. That cars 3rd gear vtec is insane with simple bolt ons. I still dont believe half the people on this board. I want to see it for myself. I use to have a SI with intake, header, and exhaust. When you are moving and you drop it into 2nd or 3rd, that car takes off. It has very high end power with I/E setup. Im sick of reading post after post bashing my friend. His car prolly looks more disgustinge than 99% of you ludes. Dont make him bust out the pics. Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate!

You're kidding, right? really, you are, right?

I honestly don't even understand what point you're trying to get across.

well, believe this, i ran a 14.89sec STOCK in my prelude VTEC.
with i/h/e/fieldSFC/exedy clutch i ran a 14.49. that will kill ANY Si with same mods.
hell, when i ran my car stock (14.89) it was against a 00 Si that ran mid 15's with i/h/e, and the second run (14.97) against a GSR i/e that hit 15.8.

bottom line:
4th gen Prelude VTEC vs. civic Si -------------> PRELUDE all the way, all day.
4th gen Prelude SI vs. civic Si-------------> better driver.
that's stock for stock.

I'll solve this once and for all and race both cars in my JDM H22a powered Civic si <sorry i just had too> I have driven both cars and I'd have to say it's close enough that it could turn into purely a driver vs. driver situation. Either way it'd be fun to watch

much props man!
I ran against a 00 civic si with a b18c5 swap I/H/E and vafc. Smoked him in my 4g lude at el mirage flats. I couldn't believe it at first but I raced him a total of 3 times. once I drove his car and he drove mine. beat him by about a car length. Im not even bs-ing, I still think he had something wrong with his car. what do you guys think?

Start the Flamin!

That sounds kindof fishy if you ask me.

The B18C5 in an ITR will net mid 14's stock. Plus an Si could weigh a little bit less than an ITR...

What's done to your 'Lude?
