having the key makes its easier to open them up... still possible w/o key, just a lil bit more work

^ you sure? i personally changed one in a 96 civic coupe, and a 95 integra sedan, and the ignition locks are the same

a few months later, my co-workers 96 civic ex coupe got broken into. almost stole the car, but busted the ignition switch. got one from the same salvage yard for $50.... $25 more just cause it was an acura integra instead of a honda civic... thats b/s
the difference was the electrical part that goes into the underdash fuse box, the pins were in different spots in the connector, but i just re-located the pins
i put together a stripped 95 db7. bought a used complete switch from a salvage yard by my work for $75
