i had a question to ask of you, i was looking at a rsx type s in my neighborhood that my friend is selling.. problem is it has a base model rsx motor its theft recovery the type s motor was stolen out of it... they selling it for 1500 and I'm wondering would that base model rsx motor would pass smog in California? is it a good investment or should i not buy it at all?

when you say install correctly, talking about how the motor was put in with the emissions n everything?

 

Yes all emissions equipment in place and working. But if I were you I'd just keep looking.
