WTB: 94-97 Del sol vtec
looking to purchase a del sol vtec with the factory b16 in it. Preferably no rust and as stock as possible. I have cash in hand and is looking to purchase asap! Email: c.richemond@gmail.com or call/text (617) 372-4375. name is carl and is located in MA
How much you looking to spend? I have a 1995 VTEC with 143K miles. The car was painted Samba Green about 6 months ago. It was originally IGP so the title/registration just reads green and was never changed. Door panels are creased. Nothing else is wrong! The muffler rusted on the previous owner and it was replaced with an oem equivelant. It sounds stock. The emblems were shaved off when it was painted. Samba green is an oem color, but it was never available on the VTEC trim level. I had him leave the stock side skirts black so it looks OEM as possible. The drivers seat and shift **** were recently replaced due to wear. Clean Carfax. No accidents or anything. I have all the service records and I am the third owner.
The second owner bought the car then realized it was due for a timing belt and the 3rd gear synchro was going bad. He then flipped it out to me. This is my 3rd Del sol and I have no problem doing the work myself. I replaced the synchro with a synchrotech carbon instead of oem. I went over the whole trans with the service manual and everything else is within spec. Also the back bumper was sagging when I bought it so I replaced the back bumper beam that holds the bumper skin to the body.
I am married and do not beat on the car. The second owner was in his 40's. I have no idea about the first owner. When I bought this car I could have had anything I wanted. I didn't cut any corners anywhere. I wasn't going to sell it until next year, but if the price is right, its right. My step kids are getting to the age where they are getting thier license and I do not want them driving the car.
I have no pictures of the car right now, but if you are interested I will take some today.
