basically i got fixit ticket for my engine now i gotta put a smog legal usdm swap in my car and hav it signed off by the sate ref.
motor was built professionally by a reputable shop. easily spent over 5k just on parts. very reliable had the swap for about 2 years never gave me any problems. motor has any where 50k -60k miles, only put a about 1k mile on it a month

not hating but how come u just dont pay the ticket... i got 4 ref tickets and never thought of pulling my swap out. the ticket is alittle pricey but a whole lot cheaper the tryn to go back to stock.

just pay the ticket and ur staight! and if u dont got the funds right then and there **** get on a payment plan 50 bucks a month.

Nope, ref tickets are $350 and a $10 or so processing fee to pay online. I've gotten 2 for my zc EF in 1 week! Just paid them both. They check up on you in 2 years though to see if you fixed the 'problem'

actually my buddy has the stock motor sitting in his garage from his 95 dx hatch, he had it ls swapped but it got stolen and crashed so he no longer has a car to put it in until he can afford a shell, which will be a while cause he doesnt even hae money to clean up his dc or fix anything on it, maybe i can talk to him and work something, i just noticed you are from wildomar, do you ever hang out with anybody from elsinore, pm me a number and ill hit him up

at the time i had a b20 and they sent me to the ref but it was pointless.... so i just payed the tickets and they were 450 and if u dont pay them in a year or 2 then they double it.

yeah thats what they all say u cant drive the car this and that but i got my 2nd ref 2 weeks later and they told me the same thing, they didnt even know i had a ref ticket 2 weeks before that i didnt even pay. so dont worry about it like i sayed there pricey but not worth going back to stock and if u dont wanna pay the full amount get a payment plan 50 bucks a month and of course u can send more if u want.
